Top Ten Reasons
to Attend OLMC
|
| Our Lady of Mount Carmel is the best school
ever. It has nice teachers. I like learning and saying my prayers. My
friends share with me.
|
|
S.M. - Kindergarten
|
| I like to do math because we always learn
new things. We learn about Jesus every day in Religion class. I love
Spelling; I always try for 100%.
|
|
E.N. - Grade 1
|
| We learn Math, Spelling, Handwriting, Art,
Computers, Spanish, Music, Science and Religion. We make friends. We
read a lot. We have homework. We do Bible Journals. We have Spelling
tests. We pray to God and we sing to God.
|
|
K.M. - Grade 2
|
| I love Our Lady of Mt. Carmel because we
have fun "specials" plus we know everyone here. Everyone is so nice
here. I can't think of a better place to go to school.

|
J.M. - Grade 3
|
| I love Our Lady of Mt. Carmel School
because the teachers are outstanding, the kids are the greatest and the
whole school is filled with love. Here are all the great things about
our school...we have the Science Fair, May Fair, Art Show, School
Plays, the Talent Show, academics and most of all, we have Religion. We
do three prayers together on our loud speaker and we say the Rosary in
May and October. I used to go to a public school and now I know the
difference. We also go to Church one day a week. I enjoy going to Our
Lady of Mt. Carmel School - now I think you know why!

|
K.M. - Grade 4
|
| I like to attend Our Lady of Mt. Carmel
School because the teachers and students are very nice and you also
receive an excellent education.
|
|
S.D. - Grade 5
|
| There are many reasons I love OLMC but here
are just a few. Our Lady of Mt. Carmel has many events including Open
Houses, May Fair, Talent Shows, Christmas and Spring Musicals, and
guest appearances. OLMC is a Catholic environment. We go to Church
every Thursday. We say the Rosary every day in October and May. We are
taught to respect one another and authority. OLMC has a perfect balance
of fun and fundamentals. We have a May Fair where we play games and win
prizes. At OLMC it's not all fun and games, we learn Vocabulary,
Spelling, Reading, English, Science, Social Studies, Math, and Religion
but we also have "specials" like Art, Music, Computers, Spanish,
Library, and Gym. OLMC is not like a public school (no offence to
public schools). It's a small environment and everyone knows everyone
and everything in our school. The teachers are great and help you when
you need help. There's always a smile waiting for you when you walk
into the school in the morning. I am sure I forgot a lot about OLMC but
here's one thing I can't forget. Yeah, the May Fair and assemblies are
fun, but isn't God what matters and OLMC covers that! |
