Mark your calendars. The Big Time is scheduled for July 20th through July 25th. This annual celebration dates back to 1883 and is a wonderful way to support OLMC. More information regarding concession assignments will be forthcoming. |

Volunteer Background Checks |
|
The Allentown Diocese is in the process of checking and re-checking the criminal histories of all volunteers at our school. This includes: CCD teachers, coaches of athletic teams and cheerleading squads, library, lunch room or classroom assistants and any parent who is reasonably expected to come in contact with our students. Background Check Authorization forms are available at the school's office. The Diocese will pay for backround checks between February 1st through March 31st, 2010. Beyond the March 31st date, you are responsible for the $10.00 fee. |

Pius X High School, Immaculate Conception and Our Lady of Mount Carmel have resurrected a bonding program. During the course of three days (February 22nd through the 25th), students from the two elementary schools will shadow seventh grade students from Pius X High School. The intent is to familiarize sixth grade students with the routine of seventh grade.

The Box Tops for Education contest ends on Friday, January 22nd. All box tops should be submitted in an envelope with the child's name, grade and total box tops. A class pizza party and free color day go to the class with the most box tops. |
OLMC's Basket/Pottery Bingo is on March 7th (Snow Date March 14th).
Tickets: $20 ($25 at the door)
Each ticket gets you a booklet to play 20 bingo games for fabulous baskets or pottery pieces filled with goodies. There will also be 3 special games and 3 raffles that you can purchase tickets and game boards for to win even bigger baskets and prizes.
This event is going to be lots of fun. Hope to see you there.
Reminder: - If you are planning on donating items to be used as fillers, please have them at the school by February 26th.
